In this course you will learn the master skills of highly successful skippers that will take your enjoyment of the sport and take your skills to a whole new level.  The skills you will gain on this course will also go well beyond skippering a boat, as this course also develops your mindset for leading others.

 

Pre-course experience:  Day Skipper 

Assumed knowledge:  Preparation for sea, deck work, navigation, pilotage, meteorology, rules of the road, maintenance and repair work, engines, victualling, emergency situations, yacht handling under power, yacht handling under sail, passage making, night cruising

Minimum duration:  1 day

Minimum age:  None

Course content:  The psychology of leading on a vessel, the preparation and responsibility of taking the vessel and crew safely to sea and the skills to effectively manage every aspect of being a successful skipper onboard
